Visit SEEC

Come see what we do.

The best way to understand SEEC is to see it in motion. We schedule tours during the school day, so you can watch our educators at work, walk the galleries we use every morning, and get a real feel for what your child's day would look like.

Plan Your Visit

Getting here.

Both of our campuses sit on the National Mall, a few minutes apart along Constitution Avenue. And a note on safety for your tour: from the moment you check in, you are in the care of the same fully staffed security team that protects the Smithsonian itself.

By Metro

The Smithsonian and Federal Triangle stations are each a short walk from both museums. The Archives-Navy Memorial station is also close by.

By car

Street parking near the National Mall is scarce. Paid garages sit within a few blocks of both museums, so plan for a short walk from wherever you park.

With a stroller

Bring the stroller. The walk from Metro is flat and stroller friendly, and strollers are welcome inside both museums.

Daily arrival, once you enroll

Families enter through the staff and security entrance each morning, pass the same screening that protects the museums, and show a SEEC parent badge or ID. Strollers are screened too. After the first few mornings, it becomes a quick routine.
